Greetings My name is Michael Stitt, and I am the owner of Stitt Manufacturing Company. I am a third generation gunsmith and gun maker specializing in building fine custom rifles. My family has been associated with the firearms industry since 1932. I have over 50 years’ experience in gunsmithing, CAD, and engineering design. I am a graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelors in Industrial Technology and Management. I have an Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology, Numerical Control, as well as an Associate’s degree in Technological Science, specializing in Metallurgy and Material Science. I was awarded a Patent for a muzzle brake design in 1997. Patent number 5612504. I served as a Remington Recommend Gunsmith for 10 years and performed warranty service on their behalf at Oakland Custom Arms Inc. Stitt Manufacturing is licensed by Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, as a Manufacturer of Firearms; License #4-38-13569 I am a member of the Oakland County Sportsmans Club, a member of MUCC, Michigan Trapshooting Association, and a life member of the NRA. |
